Calcium chloride

     Calcium chloride, a salt consisting of chlorine and calcium, is CaCl2.Slightly bitter, 

      tasteless.It is a typical ionic halide, white at room temperature, hard fragments or 

      particles.Common applications include brine, road ice melt and desiccant for refrigeration equipment.

     Colorless cubic crystal, white or grayish white, granular, honeycomb block, 

    spherical, irregular granular, powdered.Slightly toxic, odorless, slightly bitter taste.

    Hygroscopicity is very strong, easy to deliquescent when exposed to air.It is soluble

    in water and emits a large amount of heat (the enthalpy of dissolution of calcium 

    chloride is -176.2 CAL /g). The aqueous solution is slightly acidic.Soluble in alcohol,
