The product contains 18 crystal water. At normal temperature, the product precipitated from the aqueous solution is water-containing crystal, namely AL2 (S04) 3-18h20. When weathered, the average molecular composition of AL2 (S04) 3-14h20 May be white powdery, flaky or a-shaped thin sheets, odorless, from sweet to slightly astringent.
It helps in sizing of paper at neutral and alkaline pH, thus improving paper quality (reducing spots and holes and improving sheet formation and strength) and sizing efficiency.
