Product Description
Magnesium chloride is a chloride, colorless and deliquescent crystal.
These salts are typical ionic halides and are readily soluble in water. Hydrated magnesium chloride can be extracted from salt water or sea water. Application fields
1. It is an important inorganic raw material in the chemical industry for the production of magnesium products such as magnesium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide and magnesium oxide, and also as a raw material for antifreeze.
2. Used in the metallurgical industry for the production of metallic magnesium (made by melt electrolysis), liquid chlorine and high purity magnesia.
3. In the building materials industry, it is the production of light building materials such as fiberglass tiles, decorative panels, sanitary ware, ceilings, floor tiles, magnesia cement, ventilation pipes, anti-theft manhole covers, fire doors and windows, fireproof panels, partition panels, production of artificial marble, etc. An important raw material for high-rise building supplies. In the magnesite products, high-quality magnesium tiles, high-quality fireproof panels, magnesium packaging boxes, magnesium decorative panels, lightweight wall panels, abrasive tools, stoves, fireworks and solids can be used.
4. In other fields, it can be used as food additives, protein coagulants, snow melting agents, refrigerants, dustproofing agents, refractory materials, and the like. Tofu made with brine (magnesium chloride aqueous solution) is more tough than gypsum.
5. Metallurgical industry: a binder used to make refractory materials and furnace arms, and is a raw material for manufacturing No. 2 flux and smelting magnesium metal.
6. Machinery industry: In life, the use of diamond bitter soil can be made into mechanical packaging boxes, triangular cushions and furniture, etc., which is a good material for “materials by earth”.
7. Transportation industry: used as a road ice melting agent, the ice speed is fast, the corrosion to the vehicle is small, and it is higher than the sodium chloride effect.
8. Medicine: It can be used as a medicine for making "halogen dry" with magnesium chloride. Can be used as a laxative.
9. Agriculture: It can be used as magnesium fertilizer, potassium magnesium fertilizer and cotton defoliant.
10. Curing agent; nutritional fortifier; flavoring agent (combined with magnesium sulfate, salt, calcium hydrogen phosphate, calcium sulfate, etc.); solubilizer for Japanese sake, etc.; water removal agent (for fish cake, dosage 0.05%~ 0.1%); tissue improver (used in combination with polyphosphates as an elastic enhancer for surimi products). Due to the strong bitterness, the usual amount is less than 0.1%.
