1. Strong alkaline, solid caustic soda has a strong hygroscopicity. Soluble in water, heat release when dissolved, aqueous solution alkaline, slippery feeling; very corrosive, fiber, skin, glass, ceramics and so on. Reaction with aluminum and zinc, non-metallic boron and silicon gives off hydrogen; dissimilation with halogen such as chlorine, bromine, iodine; neutralization with acids to form salt and water. The staff should be protected and rinse clean with large amounts of water immediately if they accidentally touch the skin and eyes. The working environment should have good ventilation conditions. Easy to damp, soluble in water, ethanol, glycerol (glycerol). The aqueous solution is slippery and greasy, producing high heat when dissolved in water. Wear protective goggles and rubber gloves when operating, and be careful not to splash on the skin or in the eyes. [conditions for storage and transport]
stored in cool, dry, well-ventilated storerooms. Away from fire, heat source. The reservoir temperature does not exceed 35 ℃, the relative humidity does not exceed 80%. The packing must be sealed and must not be wet. Should be and easy (can) fuel, acid and other separate storage, avoid mixed storage. Product Use
1. Used in papermaking, cellulosic pulp production, soap, synthetic detergent, synthetic fatty acid production and refining of animal and vegetable oils. Textile printing and dyeing industry is used as desizing agent, cooking agent and mercerizing agent for cotton cloth. The chemical industry is used to produce borax, sodium cyanide, formic acid, oxalic acid, phenol, etc. The petroleum industry is used for refining petroleum products and for drilling mud in oil fields. Also used in the production of alumina, zinc and copper surface treatment as well as glass, enamel, leather, medicine, dyes and pesticides. Food grade products are used as acid neutralizer in food industry. They can also be used as skin remover for citrus and peach. They can also be used as detergents for empty bottles, empty cans and containers, as well as decolorants and deodorants.
2. Widely used basic analytical reagents. Standard lye for preparation and analysis. A small amount of carbon dioxide and moisture absorbent. Neutralization of acid. Sodium salt is made.
3. Widely used in papermaking, chemical industry, printing and dyeing, medicine, metallurgy (aluminium smelting), chemical fiber, electroplating, water treatment, etc.
4. Used as neutralizer, combined with masking agent, precipitate masking agent, a small amount of carbon dioxide and water absorbent, determination of ketosterol chromogenic agent by thin-layer analysis. Used in sodium salt preparation and saponifying agent.
5. In cosmetic creams, saponification of this product and stearic acid acts as an emulsifier to make snowflake cream, shampoo, etc.
6. Widely used as neutralizer, used in the manufacture of sodium salt, soap, pulp, finishing cotton fabric, silk, viscose fiber, rubber products regeneration, metal cleaning, electroplating, bleaching and so on.
