Physical and chemical properties: colorless cubic crystal. General goods for white or white porous or granular, honeycomb. Odorless, slightly bitter taste. Relative density 2.15 (25℃). Melting point is 782 ℃. Boiling point above 1600℃. It is highly hygroscopic and easily delirious when exposed to air. It is soluble in water and emits a lot of heat. Its aqueous solution is slightly acidic. Soluble in alcohol, acetic acid and acetic acid. Acting with ammonia or ethanol, CaCl2·8NH3 and CaCl2·4C2H5OH complexes are generated, respectively. At room temperature, hexahydrate is usually precipitated from the crystallization of aqueous solution. When heated to 30℃ gradually, it dissolves in its own crystalline water. After further heating, it gradually loses water and becomes dihydrate when heated to 200℃.
