Miconazole nitrate is an antifungal agent for mimidazazin, which is used to treat deep fungal infections. For many clinical pathogenic fungi such as candida albicans, music bacterium, newborn cryptococcus, blastomyces, ball spore bacteria, yeast and other deep fungus and some skin fungus, and yeast, etc., have good antibacterial effect. It also has bacteriostatic effect on gram-positive bacteria such as staphylococcus, streptococcus and anthrax.
Miconazole is an imidazole antifungal agent, commonly applied topically to the skin or to mucus membranes to cure fungal infections. It can also be used against certain species of Leishmania protozoa which are a type of unicellular parasite that also contain ergosterol in their cell membranes.
