3. Preservatives. Diuretic effect. EEC countries are allowed to use, but the UK is not allowed to use it.
4. It is an intermediate for the production of formic acid and oxalic acid, and is also used for the production of dimethylformamide. Also used in medicine, printing and dyeing industry. It is also a precipitant for heavy metals.
5. Used in alkyd resin coatings, plasticizers, strong explosives, acid-resistant materials, aviation lubricants, and binder additives.
6. A precipitating agent for heavy metals in which a complex ion of a trivalent metal can be formed. A reagent for measuring phosphorus and arsenic. Also used as a disinfectant, astringent, mordant. It is also an intermediate for the production of formic acid and oxalic acid for the production of dimethylformamide and the like.
