Polyacrylamide is, simply called PAM, a water- soluble high flocculant polymer and widely used in petroleum, paper-making, metallurgical, textile, chemical and environment protection fields.There are three categories of Anionic, Cationic and Non-ionic type.

Application:

1.Industrial wastewater treatment:  we will have the best effect of dealing with  wastewater, which is suspended particles, coarse, high concentration,  particle with positive charge, water pH value is neutral or alkaline water, such as iron and steel plant wastewater, electroplating wastewater, wastewater metallurgy, coal washing wastewater.

2. Drilling, oil production of Oilfield: modulation of plugging agent, drilling fluid, the three oil extraction agent, extraction of three times of polymer channeling agent, acid by thickening agent.

3. Food processing: sugar, alcohol, starch factory .

4. Construction industry: additive of cement, asbestos wall paper adhesive .

What's the Functional Principle  of  Polyacrylamide? 

• Flocculation Mechanism: 

Adsorbing suspension particles, polymer chains entangle and cross-link each other to form bridging, and make flocculation structure enlarge and thicken, and has the functions of surface adsorption and electric neutralization. 

• Reinforcing Mechanism:

PAM molecule chain and dispersed phase form bridging bond, ion bond and covalent bond to increase combination strength.
